Pasture Board for Youngsters & Retirees.
Roaming Free.

Our hillside is quite like the Icelandic mountains in a more southern & elevated setting. The terrain around the house, on two 20-acre pastures, will keep horses fit & moving, with lots of natural shelter, different footing, varied sloping & spread-out resources. This is the ideal set-up for healthy retirees to stay active & youngsters lo develop good socialization, muscle mass & sure-footedness. The Colorado climate up here at 7300 feet is ideal for Icelandics with its real winters & a dry climate in the summer. Horses with allergy issues in other parts of the country tend to thrive here.
The pastures are located around the house, so we can always keep an eye on them, do daily check-ups & provide additional feed if necessary. This well-balanced herd is available to both geldings & mares.
